OUR MISSION

1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon
me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto
the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim
liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that
are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of
the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that
mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in
Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for
mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that
they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the
LORD, that he might be glorified.
4 And they shall build the old
wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall
repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
Isa. 61: 1-4 KJV
This scripture is repeated by Jesus in
Luke 4:18-19.
The spiritual heart of man is mentioned
over 450 times in scripture. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep thy heart
with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life”. Could a
“broken heart” (spiritual heart dis-ease) be the cause of most
diseases in the lives of God’s children today?
Sickness and disease are running rampant
in the church (spirit, soul, body, finances and covenant
relationships). Marital and family crisis, pornography, adultery,
divorce, spousal abuse, child abuse, drug and alcohol addictions in
the world are statistically the same in the church. THERE IS
SOMETHING WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE!!
Could the root cause be broken-hearted
Christians? Deut. 28:15 calls sickness and disease a curse.
Proverbs 26:2 says the curse causeless doesn’t come. Gal. 3:13 says
Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law, which is poverty,
sickness and death.
Sickness and disease spiritually,
mentally, emotionally, physically, financially and relationally
(covenant relationships) are evidences of the curse; not the
blessings of Abraham that Galatians 3:13 clearly states the believer
should walk in. You cannot appropriate and have faith in what you
don’t know about. Hosea says the consequences of lacking knowledge
can destroy the believer, their ministry and affect their children
adversely. Hosea 4:6 may give us the reason many Christians aren’t
able to appropriate their redemption. Isaiah 61 suggests
devastation is the result of broken hearts and by healing the broken
heart, we can see healing, deliverance, and a renewal of a deeper,
more intimate relationship with God.
